Many architecture and design publications are losing their readers to blogs and other Internet sources. The reality is that digital publications can keep up with trends and news far more quickly than their print counterparts. To keep Azure culturally relevant, we repositioned them as a serious critical voice in the world of architecture and design—taking on intellectual, big-picture issues instead of merely reporting trends.
The idea of “spaces” inspired the redesigned masthead. The open counter and inward serifs of the “A” makes reference to architectural space and blueprints.
